How to teach the English alphabet to a 4 year old

I am teaching my 4 year old son the alphabet as I am now his full time teacher at home due to the coronavirus lockdown.

He has just learnt to write a-z small letters and I was wondering when I should teach him how to write A-Z big letters.

Should I wait a bit for him to consolidate before moving on to teaching him capital letters? If so, how long?

Or should I have taught him both small and big letters at the same time?
