After I’ve been working in a school for some years and had chats with my teacher colleagues how stressful days at school can be, I got told sometimes that I seem to be quite calm when I fact I used to have a huge problem with myself:
I can still recall the time when I even skipped breakfast more than once a week to get to work on time. Normal night's sleep was rare...Arriving totally wrecked on Mondays, as if the weekend didn't even took place... by the stress caused by this I was also sick often, coughing like there was no tomorrow on most days of the year. And I was letting it happen until I decided to handle it. Before, I didn't even believe I could change it.
Some of you may have seen this kind of resume before, right? ;-)
Well...So, I now decided to take the first step in becoming a coach to help with stress.
My set goal is to help teachers to deal better with stress without feeling guilty when making time for self-care and family or spending Sunday-nights anxiously trying to find sleep.
I’d like to find a few individuals to get experienced in my role as a coach also for people outside of my known environment.
I won’t be asking for anything but constructive feedback or recommendations on how to improve. If you’re interested comment below or DM me.
