I just finished my second year of being a 6th-grade science teacher and we are in need of someone to step up and be the leader of the science department. I have been considering the position and wanted to hear from veteran teachers who have been in this role before. What worked for you? What did not work for you? Are there any materials that helped you and your team be better and working together? What did you do to prepare for being that leader in your department? I appreciate any and all information on the matter.
