Can anyone recommend/link to poetry by diverse authors (read: out of the norm of dead white guys and a couple dead white women) with decent analysis that could be accessible for readers at the 6th-8th grade level?
I want to bring a list to the table for my school as they design new curriculum for next year- but know I am 1. Not great at analyzing poetry on my own and 2. A white girl with not enough exposure yet.
