How do foreign exchange student programs work in the United States with elementary, middle and high schools? I am a teacher in Bogota Colombia and my students would like to travel and study for a time in the United States. My school is also willing to host students to study here.

It would be a perfect opportunity for American students to travel to Colombia during their summer break. ( we are in school for the most part during the months of June, July, August)

I know of several programs where students can pay a lot of money to study for a couple of weeks at select schools in the USA. We could cut a lot of the costs for the students if we work directly with another school.
