Hello! I'm currently working on a group proposal of changes for my community. One of our wishes is to introduce true history that credits POC and is not whitewashed.
I've been looking, but haven't found what I'm looking for.
Do you know of some accurate history textbooks that could be implemented to our schools? We want something that clearly gives credit to POC where it is due, and not JUST Harriet Tubman, but all throughout history. Native Americans, Asians, Black people, Latinx...
Our education system is such an issue.. and the books here are approximately 20 years outdated, I believe.
Anywayyyyy... If you know of unbiased history textbooks, please, please, please share some titles/authors.
