Will teachers have whistleblower protections, even for reporting other staff members or possibly bosses?

I've already emailed my principal to ask if we do have whistleblower protections. I'm a teacher of middle school gifted math and live in a rural R state. People around here are careless and we will be on the front lines of a ridiculous mask war (and culture war, but that's a different post).

Will there be COVID Compliance officers that we could report anonymously and will they be required to investigate and deal with violations? We are flat out going to have a sizeable number of (30%) hardcore trumpets who will refuse to wear a mask, not enforce kids wearing their masks, not cleaning the stuff (in situations where janitors can't, which at my school is all the times), and outright arguing about the rules like your crazy uncle Adolf and aunt Karen on Facebook.

Has anyone heard anything about whistleblower protections at your school? What do you plan on doing when you see countless violations by willfully ignorant and dangerous people, but also people with whom you've worked with for years and didn't realize how anti-science they were?
