What if the school system closed down their schools and reallocated the savings of being closed to student families in order to help compensate with having to attend school in an online and at home environment?
What was it.. $12,000 per year for a student attending a public school?
You maintain the cost of faculty and move the money saved from not having to maintain a school, cafeteria, gymnasium, bathrooms, classrooms, fields, etc. into money that directly goes back into the students home since that home will be the new learning environment where the child learns, eats, plays, etc.
Maybe the extra, guessing here, $8000 a year not being spent anymore can help families with some of the challenges with schools closing down?
Just a thought.
