Are there any studies on bias, low grades, or school dropout by transgender people? Is there a systemic prejudice against them in education?

In men's rights communities there is a lot of talk about a bias that discriminates male students, even from primary school. This is often related to school dropout and worse grades for men. I want to know if there is a similar bias against transgender people, or if they face a similar situation during their educational path. I'm searching but I'm not able to find anything about that.
