Holistic health vs typical american health care

I think as a collective there’s a mass realization that the modern American healthcare system is sh*t. Doctor’s don’t actually listen to you, you’re prescribed a pill just to put a bandaid over the issue, it costs $$$$$, etc. Due to this I’ve always been more attracted to holistic health. Whether it be sound therapy, aroma therapy, meditation, yoga, herbalism, etc. But if you look at the number of jobs available and the pay compared to working in a typical hospital I can’t help but to feel small and intimated. I’m currently in school to become an RN but I know my calling is in a more holistic route. any advice/comments is appreciated
