What to do with my advanced 6 year old...

I was just wondering if anyone had input on going forward with my 6 year olds education. He just finished kindergarten and will start 1st grade. He is doing 5th grade fractions math and reading at a 4th grade level... he is enjoying "my big fat zombie goldfish". We dont push him he just enjoys learning the math but he gets bored revisiting older stuff.

My questions really come down to should he skip a grade or not? I worry he wont have the social aspects of school and those skills are probably more important then the missed learning.  What can I do to make sure he isnt getting bored at school?  The school doesnt test for gifted kids until 3rd grade. California is the location and we live in a good school district.
