Fed up with stupid education system

Why is it that you are told nothing about how to choose college or which career path brings you good income and growth?...you are lucky if your parents pay attention and guide...is that not supposed to be the job of school and teachers?...what the hell are they making us study so much if at last we are not taught how to decide on universities, colleges, courses and careers. Everyone just follows herd.

8th grade

This recent school year is my 8th year of grade school. im in philly, and I dont know to worry about my grades or not. I want to get into saul highschool but I've been suspended 4 times. I know my record looks really bad but I dont know what to do.

Best places for learning

Hi there, I'm from the UK and I have been looking into getting back into education possibly to develop a career. Although I need to have a job due to living alone and having bills to pay and such

Is there any online courses or studies that offer a diploma and are flexible in terms of how much time you put in? I don't wanna lock into something and be forced to complete in the span of a short time I wanna be able to take my time with it so I dont burnout

Not as a teacher but a different position that does not require a teaching credential? There are some positions I have been interested in applying for especially since the positions are remote but the reviews online are not good....

NYC ai ban and technology changes

Hi, first time posting here wasn’t sure what flair to use. I am no longer a student and AI tools like ChatGPT only became prevalent for me in college so I wanted to ask some educators. I personally think it’s a great idea especially since they are including lessons and tests in AI literacy for the high school students.
