This last year I worked with ED students (emotionally disturbed). Right now I'm doing a summer program and we have one BD student (behavioral disorder) and I just can't handle him. It's only a 9 day program, we have 7 days left so really I don't have enough time to make any progress with him but holy cow... Totally defiant, absolutely no respect for authority figures, a severe attitude, extremely rude, compulsive liar... Goes on and on about teachers he's hurt or made quit... This is a 4th grader!
What can I do to get through to him? Or to at least get him to like me so the rest of this program goes better?
