Writing with students

I’m beginning a research project on reflective journaling in the writing classroom. I like to write with my students when they are asked to journal in class. Does anyone else do this? Is there a name for this?

I am looking for literature on the topic and am struggling to define the concept. Modeling seems closest, but that keyword isn’t getting me very far. To clarify, if I have my students write to a prompt or journal self-reflectively in class, I will sit and write with them to that prompt and be a part of the sharing if we share out.
