My "permanent residence" is in New York State- car registration, license, but haven't paid taxes or lived there in several years. I finished a master's program in Boston last December- moved to Austin to work for a few months and now in Atlanta. I ask because I am in an accelerated MSN program at an incredibly expensive college and I am just trying to finish the BSN portion and see where I can apply elsewhere. Specifically, I am in the Family Nurse Pracititoner track but I knew from the beginning I have wanted to do Psych. I was deadset on going straight through, but I am thinking that these kinds of programs are not beneficial for inexperienced nurses and want to take a year in between to gain experience. I really like Atlanta so I was looking at GSU's program, but there aren't many other options. As much as I really, REALLY do not want to go back to NY, I just can't stomach the thought of continuing to pay exorbitant amounts of money and not even be prepared or able to get a decent paying NP job after being hundreds of thousands in debt.'
