How do I divide my time for assessments?

Sorry if this is a stupid post So I have 3 university assignments due in a months time each requiring 3.5k words also I have online tests on 15th 17th and 19th. I wanted to know how do I divide my time so that I dedicate equal amounts of time to all of my assessments. I’m just asking for tips on how you guys dealt with managing time. I’m in a pretty fucked state of mind rn with lockdown and also my ex has recently killed herself which is upsetting for me and I don’t have the motivation for any of this work but I know I have to somehow grind this period out otherwise I risk ruining my uni grade

I am currently teaching a unit on housing issues in NYC. I am going to use the video game Donut County as part of a lesson on gentrification. My full lesson plan is available here for free.

What's going on everyone. I will be teaching about gentrification as a part of a unit on housing issues in NYC. As an added text to further the conversation amongst my students, we will be playing the video game Donut County.

I love to see this, but as I'm making a case in an article I'm putting together, we are failing to approach civic education in a way that protects people from being influenced by bad-faith interpretations of events, or outright fake news.

To paraphrase Neil DeGrasse Tyson responding to one teacher who said they never saw Flat Earth stuff taught in schools, "It's not what they are taught but how their minds are prepared to receive information" after they leave school.

Flat Earth theory doesn't necessarily have a political implication, but together with COVID denialism and the obvious co-opting of QAnon by Trump supporters, there are deep and awful implications for individuals and their families.

And they all vote.

I'm interested if other places offer something like this course?

Is a Master's degree worth it these days?

I currently work for a higher education institution, and landed this job with my college diploma. While working full-time, I am also completing my BA part-time. I am almost done, 2 years to go. But I was thinking is a Master's degree really worth it? I have friends who have Master's and I still make more than them....I am also wondering because the last two years of your degree are important for grad school and honestly since I have been doing this since 2017 I am starting to feel burnt out. I wanted to have the Master's option available when I graduate, but I'm not just starting to think don't worry so much about the grades just get it done.
