She has never had good grades but since middle school started she doesn't even care. She says she cares, but at least half of her assignments never get turned in. She says she forgets, or lies and says she turned them in when she didn't. No matter how much trouble she gets in it doesn't matter. I am so tired of sitting in teacher conferences and having them give me that "You're a shitty parent" look. I was a strait A student. I do not understand how any person can care so little about their grades. Seriously, what is a parent supposed to do? Does this sound like ADHD? I took her to a therapist last year and she said she didn't think there was ADHD involved, but I don't see how she would know since she isn't there, at school, or trying to do homework with her.
