Teaching calculus to elementary or middle school students?

So I was thinking about how much I hated learning the math of shapes like volume and suff when I was really little. I think that I would have benefited from a limitless calculus approach to learning volume of shapes and stuff. How effective do you think it would be to teach basic math of shapes similar to a riemann sum? Obviously getting rectangular prisms are easy h x b x w but when I was leaving volume of cones or rectangular pyramids and stuff was just difficult for me to understand, and I couldn't learn by just memorizing the equations. Do you all think it would be beneficial for normal people to try and learn this way at such a young age? (Learn with rienmann techniques)
