I currently work full time at Kansas State University and am a part time graduate student in college student development - I'd like to do something in career support services or advising. I can't quit my job, because it is my sole source of income, it really is a good job, and I'm able to take classes for free with it, however it isn't really in the "area" I intend to pursue. When I get far enough in my program I'll be able to do a practicum, but is there any way to find internships or part time work opportunities in the mean time? I can't work on my own campus because there are rules as to how many hours I can work (and as a full time employee I obviously hit that).
I know this is an odd question but it seems like it's so easy to find internships for literally anything else! Any ideas are appreciated.
