Alright, 1st I'll say some information about myself.
I'm 19 years old, didn't go to High School to take care of my father who's disabled, & successfully passed the TASC test for my GED. I'm looking to go to college in the upcoming fall semester but I'm a tad stifled on which majors & minors I should take.
Some more information about myself:
-
I love writing even though I'm not particularly good at it
-
My passions at the moment bounce from virtual video games such as Smite, Hearthstone, & other competitive games to things such as watching anime for the beautiful animation and story.
-
Managing is something I've been thinking of going into because it seems to fit my personality in a way & I enjoy managing things. I don't know what I'd manage but I'm good at organization.
-
I've always been somewhat interested in law but I'm not certain that it'd be right for now. It's still something that's very fun to look into IMO.
-
Things such as sociology, psychology, & things with the mind has always intrigued me.
I believe the main question is, uh.. What do I want to do in life? I honestly don't have a solid answer for that yet.
-
Managing is something I love to do and I feel accomplished when I successfully put something together & organize it.
-
Being something on par with a Social Worker or Counseling doesn't really seem bad at all. I'd seem somewhat intrigued in that.
-
Studying criminal behavior and aiming for something that's similar to a lawyer doesn't seem that far out of reach with things I want to study & become in life.
Here's what I'm thinking of right now:
Majors
-
Business
-
Psychology
-
Social Work
-
Philosophy
-
International Studies
-
Information Systems and Informatics
-
Economics
Minors

I've decided to register at CSI (College of Staten Island) since I know they'll accept me + there's a bunch of things I'm interested in so far compared to a school like Kingsborough. I'd encourage you guys to suggest what I should do if I want to go in whichever direction.
I don't know if I've given enough information by myself but I'll be sure to read all post(s).
