Your heart is the most important deciding factor on your path in life. If you're not happy, something needs to change.
It's all too often I see people embarking on some journey just to be chewed up and spit out once reality sets in that no one really knows what they're doing and we're just a bunch of bipedal animals trying to prove something to each other.
It seems like we require donning a mask depending on the social scenario to carefully construct a reward system that we ourselves may or may not be happy with based on influences from family and friends.
Collectively, at least in my community, we value many things on the surface such as education, immigration and crime, yet my fellow voters still make decisions based on information they know themselves to possibly be false. Smear campaigns and underhanded political straw man arguments and gaslighting is everywhere. These are the people we voted into office.
Why isn't there more focus on the process we're raising kids in? They're products of their environment, do you really think standardized testing, encumbered booking and software system, poor food quality, and pitifully paid teachers are what's going to give us the next generation of leaders?
Even so, are those the types of leaders we want?
