Help me figure out what type of research is this—exploratory, descriptive or causal?

I've been reading a study named “Digital Piracy — Causes and Impact of Piracy on the Film Industry”

The objectives of the study are to:

(1.) Identify the factors responsible for piracy of movies

(2.) To understand how various social, cultural and behavioral factors contribute to piracy of media
