Parents don’t respect my decision regarding my education

Context: I failed 7th and only progressed because nothing transferred to the school that I had changed to at the end of the school yeah

And failed 8/9th grade and only got passed cause of COVID And only passed 10th cause of the school school shooting that sent my entire school back to virtual

I have also changed school systems 3 times due to a handful of stuff that happened

I’m now 17 and a jr in highschool with all f’s because I don’t understand anything on top of struggling with mental health and have been in summer school for 4 years in a row

I see this as a good decision as I will have little pervious knowledge going into the year as I would if I didn’t fail previous years and would be able to understand and retain the information better, only down side is that I’ll be 20 when I graduate because I have such a late birthday

Can I have someone else insight on my decision?
