Star early learning preK

Just learned that next year our child will have to complete the star early assessment learning in pre-K. She is an August birthday and will be turning 4 the first week of school. 3 year teacher was confident she is ready to advance and I don't have any real concerns. Child does not use a tablet or computer so I thought I would pull up a test sample to introduce her. The Renaissance website has like a 7 question sample test. She knew the answer to each question and initially touched the right choice. But the computer test reads the question then pauses, then reads out loud each answer option. As it read each answer she touched the corresponding option. So despite initially choosing the correct answer, she ultimately ended up with the last option chosen every time. I didn't bother correcting her or trying to explain because it just seemed like too much for a 3 year old to grasp. Is this a common problem. I feel like she's going to get a zero score even if she knows most of the content.
