I finished my bachelor's degree requirements before completing my GE. The University is making me finish them before giving me my Bachelor's diploma? I thought GE was part of the associate's degree only?

Should I fight this, would I win? I majored in Interpersonal Communication. Why be required to take 3 irrelevant GE courses like Astronomy which have nothing to do with my degree if I've already completed the pre-reqs for my bachelor's, and then completed my bachelor's degree? I should note that the University let me walk for graduation last Spring semester. Help?
