I'm 25 and currently enrolled in college for a BS in cyber security (only a few classes in). After doing research, I feel like I should make the transition to a BA in Business Information Systems. Would this change in major make sense? It looks like plenty of people with bachelor’s in information systems are working in cybersecurity roles without any issues. Also, the business aspect of the BA degree seems more versatile when it comes to project management, general information technology jobs, information technology management, and director roles. My plan would be to switch to BA in Business Information Systems and complete some certifications for cybersecurity. Is this a solid career plan?
