im 18 and just graduated high school. i plan on going to college in the spring or next fall. so my parents want me to do spanish 1 and a supplementary math at the community college this semester, but cant tell me why. they say to show that i have a good GPA so a college will accept me. my GPA was about 3.6-3.9. like when i ask questions, it just becomes a "bcuz we said so" type of thing. i dont plan on going to a big school. just a cheaper local 4 yr school. i plan on taking the ACT in September after studying thru this summer. in practices i get a 24-27. im also not good at math at all, but bought some programs to teach myself and get better. my language in high school was 1 year of Russian. what do you guys think about all this? if u need any additional details lemme know. thanks! just looking for guidance for if i should do those classes they want me to do or not. im thinking i want to become a financial advisor so extra math studying is a must, but im not sure about the Spanish 1 class..
