Getting nearly 4.0 GPA and at the same time having a part-time job

So I am planning to get a 4.0 GPA. I have top-grades in nearly all classes, except one, and that one is like a C or a D, and that messes up my entire GPA. I have planned a lot of time this semester to fix my grade in that class, but I have thought of getting a part-time job in a store, where I work after school. Will working interfere with my school work and grades? Can I maintain nearly 4.0 GPA? I am in the last year of what would be called secondary education...? (17/18 years old, is that what senior is?)
