Applications of IT in school

More IT in school is seen as the future. I feel that the discussion is not really structured. On the one hand I would love a unified approach for all teachers and students, but on the other hand I would like to see modules. How far are we in each module in schools around the world?:

1. Schedule of the lessons ( ill teachers, trips depending on the weather, changes between semesters)
2. Homework assignment ( ill students )
3. Grades
4. Showing videos about a subject, looking up questions in Wikipedia
5. Students learning to code ( computer science, mostly on the black board)
6. Students using the computer in math to delegate some tedious calculations
