A bill introduced by Arizona state Sen. Sylvia Allen (R) to the Arizona Senate would ban sex education in elementary and middle schools in the state before seventh grade.
This seems like the classic "if we pretend something doesn't exist then nothing bad will happen." I'm sorry, that just doesn't work. It's better to educate kids on the facts and how to protect themselves, then to just let them experiment on their own, and they're going to experiment. I'm fine with tuning the curriculum for the ages of the students, but just not teaching it is unacceptable.
