Why is the educational system so emphasized as being as very important but in reality you’re going to school and getting good marks just to survive and not be successful?

It’s staggering how children are being pelted with”school is very important” and constantly compared to their peers. Who said a D was a bad grade? It becomes only bad when they put you on a scale and put numbers on you to fit their quota. The average Harvard undergraduate makes $92,000 10 years after graduation at age 32. The average college graduate a decent state school or so makes around $45,000 on average after graduation and around $55,000 ten years after graduation at age 32. College graduates do not even make the peak of their earnings until their 40s. What I’m trying to get at is that higher education is only good for survival so you do not end up on the street. It really does not propel you high. Even someone with just a high school degree after a few years could propel themselves to around a $15-$20 an hour wage and make 50-70K if they work 50-60 hours a week.
