Universities require a minimum of 2 years of foreign language, which I don't have -- but I am bilingual. What are my options?

I graduated High School in June and I'm taking a year off while the pandemic evolves and hopefully resolves itself. I am looking to apply for the Fall 2021 term, and I just remembered that I am missing the two language credits that most state universities ask for. Are there any exams to waive the language requirements or receive the credit that I need? (I am native born Spanish speaker.) I looked into the CLEP exams from CollegeBoard but I am not sure if those would account for the credit I need since they award college credit, not high school credit. I know that community colleges would allow me to get language credits there and then transfer to a state uni, but the reason I want to be at state uni is due to the music program, as that is the field I will be going into and something I dream to be a part of. I will be contacting my old high school counselor to ask her about this topic but I wanted to get some outside opinions as well.
