My friend is applying to graduate school 12 years after graduating college. The deadline is tomorrow and he forgot to get letters of recommendation. What do we do?

Hey, I'm posting this for my boyfriend since he doesn't have reddit.

He got a bachelor's in psychology about 12 years ago, and applied for pre-med (and got accepted) but then got a job working as a machine repairman making good money and ultimately decided not to pursue higher education until now. He decided he wanted to be a psychologist and apply for graduate school at the same college he went to rather last minute and has worked extremely hard to finish his application in 2 days. The deadline is tomorrow and the only thing he is missing is 3 letters of recommendation. He could ask his old coworkers and employer but they aren't exactly the academic types and he feels bad contacting them on a Sunday, the only two professors he was close with are dead and he does not want to reach out to any of his other professors as it has been 12 years and he doesn't think any will remember him. Does anyone have any advice on what we can do?

Thank you in advance!
