Scholarship to the US (UK Student)

Hello, my name is Mark and I've recently graduated from University having got a BA in Practical Filmmaking.

I'm hoping to complete an MA in Screenwriting and it's always been a dream of mine to study (and live) in the US. Does anyone know of any scholarships or schemes I can look at to help with this. I tried asking at my University but they said they don't help with that kind of stuff, which is a shame. I feel a little lost and overwhelmed with the process right now.

I am a very hardworking student and have overcome a lot of adversity to get to where I am today. I'd love to continue this journey in a country I've always loved.

Any advice or help would be appreciated! Even if someone could point me in the right direction =]
