So I'm in that stage of picking an educational/career path and this is what I've been getting as advice/input from people around me:
"Trades are in demand, you can start making money right away after 1-2 years of school or do an apprenticeship and make 6 figs in no time". "You can open your own shop/business in a couple years" "white collar office jobs aren't as in demand and so many people are out getting degrees to compete for those few jobs"
And on the other side of the spectrum I have ppl telling me
"Trades aren't great, your body will ache later and most plumbers don't make 100k, tech is booming get a cs/eng degree".
I'm leaning towards getting a degree but really don't know.
I'm good in school and hands on work but that aside I would like to hear from you guys.
