Have there been any studies on teacher turnover?

Our title 1s can’t hang onto teachers, but our more affluent schools never suffer for staff.

I know that districts around us have about the same turnover at our title 1s. And these districts pay more.

It seems like a reality we do not want to face. Teachers don’t want to teach at poor schools.
