I need an article that talks about how the african culture does not see material wealth important

I'm writing an essay on development. Most development economist wrote from a western material perspective that was impacted by colonialism, world war 2, the cold war etc. A lot of them created economic parameters for measuring and classifying developing countries such as GDP, GNP, GNI , poverty income parameters.

In my essay, I want to contrast this by litterature about african thought , that this material progress is a western projection to a large extent, and that african culture focuses more on community, religion etc. I'm struggling to find an article and my deadline is around the corner,
