Hello fellow educators,
I have recently accepted a position as a long-term sub for a middle school teacher who is going on leave. I have a meeting with my educational supervisor in the near future to sign my contract and meet face to face for the first time.
For some background I am in my mid-twenties, have about 2 years of in-classroom experience (student teaching and assistant teaching), and many years experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students.
I would like to make a great first impression. What type of things should I research about my school before my meeting and what are some questions I can have prepared ahead of time to impress my new boss?
Any advice and insight would be very appreciated!
