Unrealistic expectations from admin

I am so frustrated with the lack of understanding from the administration house. Expecting 4 year olds to be writing 2 months into the new academic year is absolutely ridiculous. These poor kids need to be learning the fundamentals, going to the bathroom on their own, independence etc. give them some time to settle into this new environment. But everything is so focused on writing writing writing that they are forgetting the other important things. Makes you feel like an incompetent educator when you can’t meet the expectations of admin that isn’t even realistic right now. So many things to factor in.
