Study pathways for mycology? (Australia NSW)

I am 25 years old in Australia NSW, and briefly studied horticulture online through TAFE. But dropped out due to mental illness.

I got a 48 in my ATAR in year 12. I have no experience with biology either.

I would like to know how I can gain access to pathways towards mycology.

I would like to also know if you guys know any literature that I could self study/read as a beginner.
