When is FAPE violated

1. My selectively mute child is in an ICT classroom but continues to withhold her urine and doesn’t eat. She was denied a tolieting paraprofessional, speech, IEP goals do not mention strategies to implement nonverbal gestures and cues. She doesn’t talk to adults or her peers. She cannot self advocate for herself. Show and tell was a DISASTER. She is behind on reading.

2. My dyslexic third grader is still at a second grade reading level. Also in an ICT classroom. They denied SETTS on top of ICT but on her MAP Assesment she scored 30% in reading and 35% in math. All grades well below standards and goals. She has fallen through the cracks and it’s starting to affect her emotionally. She hides her report cards. Says she’s stupid. Not good at anything. Doesn’t want to go to school. Homework avoidance. This is with a private reading teacher that’s working on PAF with her. She can’t short term memorize anything to save her life. Denied OT but my IEE states she’s z6% for motor coordination. She has auditory sensory issues. She cannot grip a pen well. Please help.

I want my kids out.
