The title sums up my question but for more context im based in Canada and im absolutely passionate about working in the event industry im not sure which niche yet but im mostly appealed to the arts scene and corporate events. I already have some work experience when it comes to coordinating and planning events and i have even done some volunteer work. Im also taking some uni classes in Communications right now however i wonder if there are any certifications i could do that would look nice on my CV or give me any sort of advancement. Also is a communications degree worth it or should i switch to business? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! :)
