Hello everyone, I am hoping to get some advice regarding my neice. She is a home schooled sophomore in high school, and I have a strong feeling that her education has been seriously neglected. My wife and I have had conversations with my niece in which she has expressed her desire to go to college and create a stable life for herself. My question is, what resources are available to a student in her position? and would her parents be held liable for neglecting her education in the state of Tx?
I'm aware that these may be questions with answers dependent on our local school district and laws. Still, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
