I'm 23, I don't have my GED, I dropped out of highschool at 17. I'm currently studying a GED book, I have no idea how I learn, as in the 7 different ways to absorb information. I can't focus, but I did start reading out loud and it kind of helps. I have the inspiration to do it and the motivation but the anxiety of failing puts these mental walls in my head that slow me down and make me feel dumb even though a lot of my family genuinely think I'm smart. I'm just looking for guidance, some tips, anything because, I'm ready to start this new chapter in life and follow my fathers footsteps of being in IT.
