How do I motivate myself to study?

Hi, I am the student that does not always pay attention i class and never does homework, i get grades just over minimum of passing unless I really like the subject. I know that if I spent atleast an hour a day per subject at home I would get over the class average almist instantly. But I tend to procrastinate a lot and get a grasp of time just before bed time and end up not studying at all after often just sitting around at home. I know the whole University deal and that I must study but it always seem that I can do it next day. How do I force myself to study? Thanks!
