Wondering about a way to more accurately report student scholarship awards in district?

A project I'm working on in the district I work in is bettering the accuracy of reporting the scholarship amounts students get so we can better say like "students in our district were awarded $X this year" or something like that.

I'm wondering if there's a better way to get student response, as them responding within the Naviance platform or a form we create would be the only way to get that data.
