Why don't students like it when a student asks a lot of questions?

I'm currently a High School student. I'm just confused because whenever someone asks a question I always stay respectful and don't comment on him asking that question, but whenever I ask a question about the topic and try to learn more about certain ideas that we just generally cover the other students seem to get annoyed. However, I don't get annoyed when they ask for the meanings for simple words or have trouble answering a question the was fairly easy for me, but they apparently have a problem with when I ask a question that goes deeper into a topic.

P.S.: I'm just asking this because one of my classmates blatantly said it was annoying and that it was wasting time, but I don't say anything when figuring out that 100-19 = 81 for a certain question is wasting time.
