Hi guys,
So I am kind of conflicted I’m currently a final year student in the UK and have been applying to graduate schemes I still have a few interviews to do and am waiting on ones I have done however I need a backup plan.
Do I study a masters at London school of economics/university college London in a subject such as international social and public policy or do I pay money for a placement abroad (through the intern group) I feel both have their advantages and disadvantages.
For the first route I feel I may fail, I currently study business economics at an average uni (top 50) and I am predicted a first class honours but I just feel the step up to LSE is immense however I feel the subject is something I find interesting and may find fun to study.
For the paid placement I feel it gives me experience in a business environment and help apply what I’ve learnt but at the end of the day one of the reasons I want to do a postgrad at LSE is due to the reputation which I feel my current uni sort of lacks and I feel just having a masters from LSE would stand out so much on websites such as linked in. How would a placement abroad look like on my LinkedIn. I’m just caught up in 2 minds and would love your input. Thank you
