I have a question about a Bachelor in Engineering degree I am really confused please help me out.

So the place where I come from we don’t have things like Majors and Minors in our degrees, we study the same subjects and get the same generic degree like Bachelor in Civil Engineering that’s it.

Now a university in Australia is offering me Bachelor in Civil Engineering (Structural Major) and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering with no major. What would the difference be if I went with the no major degree since if I go for no major I can do enviornmental engineering which I like.

Please help me out if you can, any help is appreciated. This is my first post so sorry if I made any mistakes.
