Hi all! I’m currently in school to become an mlt in indiana. My aunt is one and I like the work she does, plus she gets paid great money. She swears up and down that I’ll get paid great money too. She has an A.A. And gets paid like 34/he, but she’s also been doing it for 8 years. When I looked up the average salary, it’s a lot lower than her estimate. I understand that those sites don’t distinguish unlicensed from licensed, or even other lab techs from the specific one I’m looking at. Can someone give me some insight so I know I’m on the right path?
